Late C16 or early C17 house. Rubble, red tile roof. L plan. South wing of
two storeys and attics. West gable end with ornamental stone coping and first
floor moulded string course, ground and first floor each with 5-light leaded
casement, 3-light similar attic window, all with stone mullions and transoms.
Drip mould to first floor and attic windows. East gable end has decorated
moulded kneelers with three crow steps to bottom of gable. Similar
arrangement of windows to West gable end and sundial below attic window.
Later wing to North of one storey and attics. North elevation has a single
gabled attic dormer. Interior: on ground floor an original overmantel of
oak carved with arcaded panels and strapwork, fluted friezes to both
overmantel and bressumer below; also a panelled partition of the later C17
incorporating original panels.
