Wrongly shown on O.S. map as Nos. 31,33 and 35. Terrace of three cottages,
c.1800. Dressed sandstone with quoins at angle of No. 78; coursed rubble
at rear. Clay pantile roof, renewed at No. 74, with stone ridge and gable
copings; block kneelers and rebuilt brick end stack at No. 78. 2 storeys, 3
windows. Paired doorways to Nos. 76 and 78, doorway at right of No. 74;
early/mid C20 panelled and part-glazed doors and overlights. Mid C20
casements in original openings at Nos. 74 and 78. Horizontal sashes with
glazing bars at No. 76. Painted stone sills. Stack at junction of Nos.
74 and 76. Single-storey rear extensions are not of special interest. No.
72,adjoining right end, much altered and not of special interest.
