House. C17, altered mid C18 and C19. Timber frame with C17
brick infill to right gable. Front and left gable rebuilt in
brick, front ground floor in mid C18 red and vitreous chequer brick
with first floor band course, remainder C19 brick. C20 interlocking
tile roof, chimney with paired shafts of thin brick between right
bays, C19 brick chimney to front left. 2 storeys, 3 bays and
lobby entry. Wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars,
3-light to first floor and ground floor left, 4-light to ground floor
right bays. Ground floor windows have gauged brick heads. C20 gabled
brick porch with half-glazed door between right bays. C19 lean-to
to rear. Interior shows timber framing in original rear wall and
partitions and has chamfered spine beams in right bays and stop-
chamfered spine in left bay. Old winder staircase in line with
chimney. Fireplace in right bay has shallow depressed arch of chamfered
brick.
