Public house. Rear wing probably C17 and early C18, re-using older timbers;
C19 front wing. L-plan. Front wing is of whitewashed brick with off-set
eaves, plain tile roof and brick chimneys. One storey and attic, 3 bays.
C20 3-light barred wooden casements, lower windows with segmental heads,
2 to upper left in gabled eaves-line dormers. Half-glazed doors between
bays,the right with C20 gabled porch. Rear wing is timber framed with
whitewashed brick infill, C20 tile roof, and brick chimneys. C17 near bay
is of 2 storeys with barred wooden casements, 4-light to ground floor,
3-light above. 2 far bays are of one storey and have paired casements.
These bays have re-used substantial timbers, with some curved wind-
braces, and one truss with concave raking struts.
