Originally 2-room cottage of C17 or C18 origins, with floors and central back-
to-back fireplace inserted subsequently. Extended west by one room in early
C19 and east by two rooms in 1940s to make L plan, when whole probably
renovated. Coursed limestone rubble, thatched roof, hipped at both ends.
Three dormers with modern lead paned windows, modern porch. C19 gable end is
half-hipped. One storey and attics. Internal timber framing largely
intact.
