6/28 Garden wall, 60 metres
south of Hardwick Hall

Continuous wall enclosing garden. Probably late C18. Mainly narrow hand-made
brick in English garden wall bond. Encloses oval area; wall about 3 metres
high. Several round-arched doorways. Projecting upper course mainly renewed.
Squat buttresses to north-east. Roughly-shaped late C20 vehicle entrances to
north and south.
