Lodge, stableblock and outbuilding. 1911 by H Ibberson. Random, dressed, gritstone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins, plus a small amount of timber framing and decorative red brickwork. Graduated green slate roof with stone ridge stacks. Arts and Crafts style, two storeys, roughly L-plan with two bay house at corner and attached stableblock to south and outbuilding to west. East elevation has central, semi-circular headed archway,with elongated raised keystone, through the building, north side of arch dies into the house whilst south side is corbelled out over a chamfered jamb. Across the top of the arch is a recessed section of timber framing, whilst below hang a pair of double gates, each curved upwards to the centre. To north the lodge cottage has semi-circular advanced bay with chamfered quoined doorcase, sheltered by large hood decorated with art nouveau style leadwork, contemporary door below. Set back to north, a two-light flush mullion window. Similar window above and over doorcase. Also,beyond arch to south, two similar windows. All fenestration leaded lights. North elevation of Lodge has two and three-light flush mullion windows. To west gable of outbuilding a flight of steps up to first floor door which has decorative chequerwork of red brick and gritstone blocks, to sides and above.
