House. C17, early C18, altered early C19, 1893 wing to rear. Coursed squared sandstone, partly rendered, red brick and sandstone dressings. Plain tile roof to east, Welsh slates to west. Central brick ridge stack. Two storeys and attics, chamfered stone plinth. East elevation of an irregular three gabled bays and additional two bays to left. Off-centre doorway with raised and fielded panelled door with windows on each side, all enclosed within a C17 moulded stone surround. To the right a tripartite glazing bar sash in moulded stone surround and a doorway with half glazed door, in a moulded stone surround. To the left is a glazing bar sash and beyond is an open carriage entrance through the building.
First floor right hand part has a small central window in moulded stone surround, flanked on each side by tripartite glazing bar sashes in plain raised stone surrounds. Three small windows in each of the gables above. Left hand two bays have two early C18 glazing bar sashes with moulded architraves and sill band. Cornice and parapet above. Irregular rear elevation with a four-light recessed and chamfered mullion window and the remains of a similar two-light window below.
Interior: C19 staircase. Two upstairs rooms with early C18 painted panelling and painted stone chimneypieces. Heavily moulded beam. Single purlin roof with upward braces. Entrance hall with exposed beams and a C17 stone chimneypiece with moulded cornice and brackets.
