Cottage of C17 or C18 origins. Limestone rubble, No. 49 thatched, No. 51
modern tile roof. Brick extension on road end. Two storeys. T-plan with small
two storey gable with old clay tile roof projecting to the east. Gable end
of No. 49 has two 2-light casements with glazing bars to first floor, and one
large fixed window in a moulded frame at the ground floor.
