Farmhouse. C17, with later additions. Colour washed rough cast over timber
frame, later block in colour washed brick. Old clay tile roof. Original
block 3-room plan, of 2 storeys and attics. Later one storey and attics wing
projects to NE forming overall L-plan. S elevation: C20 french window to L, 2
3-light casements to ground floor, one 2-light and 2 3-light casements to
first floor, one gabled dormer with 2-light casement. Substantial red brick
ridge stack serving 2 LH rooms. Weather boarded and pantiled outhouses adjoin
to W gable end. Building stands in moated site.
