Limekiln. Early C19. Slatestone rubble.
Plan: Rectangular plan kiln, about 10 metres by 5 metres, built into the bank at the
rear for top loading. The kiln is close to the bank of the River Tamar for water
transport. Single well.
The kiln has a single round arch to left, with stone dressings to arch, leading to a
vault, with stoke-hole to rear. String course above, continued around the sides.
Rubble coping to parapet.
