II
House. Probably early C18 with C19 rear wing. Roughcast stone with slate roof,
rock-faced quoins to rear wing. South elevation of 2 storeys and 3 bays.
Windows are sashed with vertical glazing bars, those to ground floor have
dripstones. Gabled porch to central bay. Gable-end stacks. Possibly a blocked
fire window to right hand end. Rear wing has casement windows and gable-end
stack. East elevation has window in former entrance, and entrance to rear
wing. Interior has stop-chamfered beams and joists. Fireplace beam has camber
to left hand end, to left of mortise for heckpost. Spice cupboard with 2-panel
door and large cupboard with fielded-panel doors flank fireplace.
