Farmhouse and barns. Early C18 with barns dated over entrance 1859. Painted
roughcast walls with eaves cornice and painted V-jointed quoins. Welsh slate
roof with bottom courses of sandstone slates; coped gables and kneelers, and
cement rendered chimney stacks. Barns and stables of coursed red and yellow
sandstone under sandstone slate roof, stables under Welsh slate roof. 2
storeys, 2 bays with lower barn to left, partly converted to house extension,
and adjoining T-shaped barn at right-angles forming overall U-shape. C20
panelled door in shouldered bolection architrave with panel frieze under console
bracketed cornice. Sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone
architraves. Former barn to left has C20 doors and windows in painted stone
surrounds, door with reused Tudor-arched lintel dated and inscribed I & M I 1667
(Jefferson?) Projecting cart entrance with plank doors to left. Right-angled
stable has half-plank door and slit vents. Stone stepped mounting block built
against front wall to left. Barn has segmental cart entrance; plank door to
right and loft above; slit vents below eaves.
