- at approximately 30 metres north of
Ivey Farmhouse

Farmhouse and adjoining outbuilding. C17, remodelled in the C18 and extended
probably in the C19. Granite rubble with granite moorstone dressings. Spanish slate
roof on 2 levels, scantle slate roofed behind lean-tos. Dressed granite chimneys
over the gable ends. Left-hand stack is external.
Plan: 3 room range with large fireplace to each room. Entrance between 2 left-hand
rooms. Later lean-to behind the left-hand side. Front wall of original C17 house
partly rebuilt in the C18 and C19. Rear wall of right-hand room is thicker.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Overall 4 window east front. Nearly symmetrical 3 window
front on the left with doorway central to fenestration and one window front (with 2
ground floor windows) on the right. C20 ledged door and C20 horned sashes in C18 and
C19 openings. Rear wall has C19 chamfered outer frame of former mullioned window
behind the right-hand room. There are many reused C17 chamfered fragments in the
building.
Interior: 3 large C18 granite fireplaces. The fireplaces in the right-hand room has
a domed oven behind its left-hand jamb. C20 first floor and C20 roof structure.
