4/43 Home Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. 1783-4, probably by Anthony Keck. Coursed rubble faced in
brick with hipped slate roof. External lateral stacks to rear (south-east)
wall. North-west front of two storeys with central bay advanced and ped-
imented. Three plus one plus three windows, 6-pane sashes under segmental
heads. Ground floor has a central entrance with segmental head and plain
wooden architrave. To the left, two glazing bar sashes flank a similar
entrance, to right the entrance has a gabled canopy on simple brackets.
