8/5 Switchers Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid-to late-C18 with C20 alterations. Squared rubble, millstone
grit dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys 3 bays. Central staircase plan.
Central entrance has moulded surround and hood; c1970 glazed door. 2 former
2-light flat faced mullioned windows per storey with plain projecting surrounds,
mullions now gone, and smaller single light window in centre of upper storey;
C20 casements. Chamfered quoins, shaped gable end kneelers, coping. Gable
end ridge stacks.
