Cottage. Possibly C15 or C16 with later alterations. Timber-frame with
painted brick infill and roughcast. Sandstone slate roof with sandstone
rubble and brick stacks. L-plan of 2 x 1 bays with arms to north-west and
north-east. One storey and attic. South elevation has two ground floor
windows, 3-light late C19 casements. Central glazed door. Frame is three
square panels high from plinth to wall-plate and has angle struts from top
left of entry to wall-plate. Each gable has cruck blades. Attached to rear
is timber-framed extension underpinned in brick. Interior not inspected.
