Cottage. Probably C17 with later alterations. Sandstone rubble plinth
and timber-frame with brick infill. Corrugated iron roof. Extruded
sandstone end stack with detached brick shaft and attached baking oven.
Rectangular two-bay plan aligned east/west. One storey and attic. South
elevation has one late C19 casement of two lights set in an eyebrow to
left-hand side. Ground floor has a pair of mid-C20 oriels glazed with
plate glass and central entry via glazed early C20 gabled porch. Frame
is three rectangular panels high from plinth to wall-plate. Angle struts
from central wall-post and right corner wall post to wall-plate. Interior
noted as having heavy ceiling beams.
