Gate, gate piers and walls. Probably later C17 with walls probably later:
Wrought iron and sandstone rubble: Gate has rosettes in quatrefoils and
scrolls towards the bottom. Overthrow has inscription ADEO ET REGE and
achievement resembling Royal Arms combined with Scudamore Arms, falling
off overthrow time of re-survey (June 1986): Adjacent piers are square in
section with scrolls and rosettes. At the top of each are plumed hats.
Walls are about five feet high and extend about five yards to either side
of piers: The gate and piers are probably from the grounds of Holme Lacy
House (qv). (BoE, p 194).
