King's Farmhouse
II
House, probably early C18 perhaps with some earlier features. Coursed rubble with
stone slate roof and stone ridge. Two storeys. Entrance facade is of 2 bays with
2-light square mullion windows slightly recessed, and doorway in a surround of the
same type. At rear is a 4-light mullion and transom window botched from 2 lights. In
right hand gable wall is a 3-light double chamfered stone mullion window. Two
chimneys, one with blind arcading. Inside a very large segmental arched fireplace
with cyma moulding, and heavy exposed beams.
