II
Pair of cottages. C17 and C19. Reused squared stone in random chequerwork with
knapped, and C17 and C18 brick dressings, slate roof C17 1½ storey, 3 bay building
with C19 lower 2 storey bay at left. End bays have C20 doors with C20 2-light
casements all in original openings. Centre bay has C20 3-light casement in
original opening. Above centre and left bay C20 2-light casements with heads
in sloping dormers and in right bay C18 2-light casement. Left bay of flint
with brick dressings, with 2-light casement with segmental head and smaller
2-light casement above. Steep pitched roof hipped at right, half-hipped at
left with stacks at either end of ridge. Lower C19 bay has half-hipped roof
with projecting stack on hip.
