Farmhouse, then 3 cottages, now single residence. C17, altered C18 and
C20. Timber-frame core encased in brick and slate-hung, all colourwashed,
old plain tile roof. 4 bay, double pile 2 storey. Approximately central
planked door in solid frame with gabled hood positioned to left of stack.
To left 2 and to right 3 2-light leaded casements of C17 to C19. At left
end C18 16-pane segmental head sash. On 1st floor raised eaves with original
dormers now incorporated into walls, 2-light casements. Roof hipped with
ridge stack to left of centre. Inside between ranges stud wall of timber
with reed and daub infill and on 1st floor right bay originally had separate
octagonal roof, possibly used as a chapel.
