Coaching Inn, now a house. Early C18, altered late C18/C19. Ashlar and coursed
squared rubble; Cotswold stone slate roofs with coped raised verges; moulded
eaves cornice. 2 storeys, cellars and attics in dormer to right. 2+2 bays.
To left: end quoins and plain band over ground floor; 2 storey canted bay
window with glazing bar sashes; single glazing bar sash to right over wide C20
door under fanlight and a plain stone arched surround with keystone; wrought
iron sign bracket projects. To right: glazing bar sash windows, 16-panes on
ground floor, thick bars and plain stone surrounds on first floor. Return
elevation to Church Lane has 4 glazing bar sash windows under cornice on first
floor.
