Row of 4 estate cottages. Early C19. Coursed squared and
dressed limestone. Stone slate roof. Two C19 ashlar stacks,
three stacks restored in dressed stone C20. Long rectangular
plan. C20 flat-roofed extensions at rear not of special interest.
1 1/2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-windowed facade to each cottage. Two
half dormers with stone-mullioned casements to first floor of each
cottage, two similar casements with stopped hoods to ground floor.
C20 part-glazed doors with canopies with moulded margins, on moulded
brackets at the centre of each facade. Two-light stone-mullioned
casement with stopped hood in right gable end at first floor level.
Gable-end and axial stacks all on plinths, two with moulded
cappings. Flat coping at gable ends and to dormers. Moulded
kneelers. Interiors not inspected. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone walls c2m in height forming boundaries to yards at rear.
