Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Early C18 rebuilding of earlier building. Brick with old plain
tiled roof, but incorporating timber-frame building. Long front range with
late C18 wing to rear at left and C20 parallel range to rest of rear. 2
storey, 7 window range, with glazed C20 door approximately central with
bracketed hood porch. Camber headed C19 and C20 2-light windows, 4 to left.
To right of door square capped-off stack on front of building. Brick band
to 1st floor and irregular C19 casements immediately below boxed eaves.
Roof has a pair of gabled tile hung dormers with 2-light casement, and
gable end stacks, external at left end. C20 lean-to to left end. Inside at
right end heavy beams and joists in end rooms.
