House, 1779, brick with concrete tile roof; stone sills, stone
coped gables with kneelers, 3 gable stacks. 3 storeys, 3 bays, L
plan. Central reeded timber doorcase with curved brackets to
hood, C20 glazed door with glazing bar overlight; flanked by
single glazing bar sashes. Above, 3 glazing bar sashes on each
floor, those on second floor smaller. All openings have rubbed
brick heads with keystones. Left gable has datestone inscribed
'J.G.1779'. Rear wing has to left, 3 light casement, to right,
glazed door, both with segmental heads; above, 2 glazing bar
sashes. Adjoining C18 pigeoncote and stables, brick with
pitched and pyramidal pantiled roofs, dentillated eaves, single
coped gable. Central 3 storey pigeoncote flanked by 2 storey
stable wings, 5 bays. Irregular fenestration including 3 stable
doors, single close-boarded door, 5 slatted openings. Above,
central loft door with, to left, 2 unglazed openings, and to
right, close boarded door between 2 unglazed openings. Above
again, central unglazed opening with, above central semicircular
opening with 3 tiers of pigeonholes.
