4/236 Butcher's Arms Public House

House, now public house. Probably late C17 to early C18. Timber-framed
with plaster infill, weatherboards and tiled roof; two large side stacks of
stone with brick shafts. Rectangular plan aligned north-east/south-west.
One storey and attic. North elevation is dominated by the two stone side
stacks and has one group of three raking top C20 dormers to the left of the
left hand stack and another similar single dormer between the two stacks;
ground floor has one C20 casement to left side of glazed entrance porch to
left of the left stack. Frame is three regular square panels high from cill
to wall-plate. Attached at the rear is a large C20 extension in a similar
style (not included).
