House. Fabric probably later C17, remodelled 1704 (dated sundial); east
extension and rear wing, which links to another C17 range, c.1800. Rubble with
massive roughly-shaped quoins in C17 part, and cut dressings; Welsh slate roof,
one brick stack. South elevation 2 storeys, 5+1 bays. Original 5-bay part has
central flush-panelled door in moulded surround with swan-neck pediment, and
12-pane sash windows (some renewed) in raised stone surrounds with moulded
sills; east bay has similar windows in plainer surrounds. Coped gables, end
stacks (left rebuilt in brick) and 1 ridge stack. Attached flat-coped garden
wall to left has doorway with raised alternating-block surround; lower parts
not of special interest. Left return shows 16-pane sashes in rear wing; to
left projecting gable end of 1-storey wing with C19 pent porch and 6-pane sash.
Similar windows in rear elevation of 1-storey wing, and old blocked chamfered
doorway.

Interior: stair of c.1800 with stick balusters and moulded handrail; earlier
understair cupboard has door with H hinges. 1-storey wing to rear has walls
0.85 metre thick.
