Forecourt walls, outbuildings and cistern. Early and late C19. The deep grassed
forecourt with driveway has a roadside wall of flint panels and brickwork, curving
inwards to a plain gateway. On the south side there is a 2-storeyed block with a
tile roof, ½-hipped at the north end (with exposed timber frame in the gable) and
hipped at the south end: the walls are brick with flint panels, the inner face with
a window above a central doorway. At right angles (and bordering the south side
of the forecourt) is a single-storeyed range of flint and brick, with a thatched
roof. In the centre of the forecourt is a hexagonal lead cistern, with raised strap-
work ornament dated 1707. Included for group value.
