House and byre/hayloft. Early C19. Squared rubble, stone slate roof. 2
storeys, 3 bays. Off-centre boarded door; to left a 16-pane sash and similar
window above; to right boarded door to byre and half-slatted window above.
Left and right small lean-to additions. Left return shows small blocked attic
window, boarded doorsin lean-to and in left end wall of contemporary house
outshut. Rear elevation shows left hayloft door flanked by slit vents, right
pitching door in lean-to.
A good example of the house of a smallholder-cum-miner, a building type once
common in the area.
