9/188 Elm Tree Cottage
II

Detached house. Mid C17, altered C20. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone. Stone slate roof on front roof pitch, artificial stone
slate at rear, C20 stone stacks. Rectangular main body, C20
extensions at rear and to right of main body not of special
interest. Main body; two storeys and attic lit by three C20 two-
light roof dormers. Two, 3 and 4-light hollow-moulded stone-
mullioned casement with stopped hoods to ground and first floors.
Single light with double-chamfered stone-mullioned jambs left of
front door. C20 plank door with decorative strap hinges off-centre
left. C20 stone-mullioned casements at rear of main body. Stacks
at gable ends. Interior not inspected.
