House early C19, adjacent barn a little later, cottage c.1840. House fronted
with tooled and margined ashlar,barn coursed rubble, cottage squared rubble,
both with cut dressing; slate roofs. House 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical.
Central altered panelled door and 12-pane sash windows in moulded boxes, with
slightly projecting sills. Coped gables with moulded kneelers, stepped brick
stacks. Barn to right has various doorways and central external stone stair
to boarded door with alternating jambs flanked by slit vents. A second tier
of slit vents above; each vent has a chamfered surround, and is cut in a single
stone. Cottage to far right 1 storey, 2 bays, irregular. Off-centre boarded
door under 2-pane overlight flanked by paired 8-pane casements; smaller window
to right. At right end contemporary lean-to with smaller boarded door. All
openings have stone surrounds with the lintels and sills extended beyond the
line of the jambs, each of which has a single horizontal block at mid-height.
Lobby-entrance plan with a single stepped and corniced stack in line with the
doorway. Rear elevation shows contemporary outshut.
