Farmhouse. Possibly late C17 or early C18, altered late C19. Red brick on sandstone plinth with tiled hipped roof. Two rooms deep with central entrance hall and main stairwell, three axially placed stacks; one to left and two to right.
Two storeys with attic and cellar; English bond brickwork, moulded cornice; overhanging eaves; string course; five window spaces to first floor, left of centre blocked, remainder have 16-pane glazing bar sashes; ground floor has central doorway with later porch partly obscuring doorcase; simple Tuscan pilasters supporting entablature; partly glazed door with traceried, rectangular fanlight, flanked by two glazing bar sashes to left, window to right of centre extends to ground level, and there is a second door to right. Right hand return has C19 cross casements, other elevations have glazing bar sashes, skylights in roof at rear.
