10/182 Gearing Monument, about 3.5m south-
east of south door in churchyard
of Church of St. Lawrence

GV II

Chest tomb. William Gearing, early C19. Limestone. Moulded
capping and tall moulded plinth on large base formerly railed.
Tent top. Quarter baluster corners, plain fielded end panels with
reeded edge, plain recessed sides with reeded edge and flanking
narrow strips. Inscriptions badly eroded on all sides.
