II
Detached house. Late C18 or early C19. Coursed rubble stone
with alternating flush quoins, stone slate roof, 2 dressed stone
stacks with moulded cornices. Single L-plan range, extended to
rear in later C19, with small early C20 rendered and tile-hunq
extensions flanking main front. Mostly 2 storeys. Front to
south-west has 3 coped gables with finials, central gable slightly
projecting with 2-light stone mullion with square hoodmould and
flanking 3-light similar, all with arched heads and with small
wooden sashes with Gothick tracery. Ground floor has two 3-light
similar and central projectng porch with gable anti finials at apex
and lower corners, and arched stone entrance with square hoodmould,
half-glazed 4-panel door to rear of porch. End gables of main
range also coped with finials at apex and lower corners. C19
addition to rear on right-hand side in incised render.
