Circa 1806 by George Dance junior.
Pair of lodges linked by wall with central turreted archway. Brick,
stuccoed, slate roofs. Lodges single storey, single bay wide, 2 deep, on plinth
with pilasters, frieze, cornice, pediment, 12-pane sash, and rendered stack on
ridge between bays. Screen wall, originally 2 bay quadrant wall but one bay
projection added to inner face of lodges in front of curved part, on plinth with
pilasters each end and coping. Central gateway with tall, narrow arch, and para-
pet of wavy cresting with scallop at centre. At corners octagonal turrets on
base with top of anthemion motif crennelation. Rear front has colonnade of octa-
gonal wooden posts supporting a modified entablature, between lodges and gateway,
in front of screen walls.
