II
House. C17, early C19 alterations. A timber-framed house with a late addition,
forming an L-shape. Roughcast and brick walls, thatch and tile roof.
Symmetrical south front of 2 storeys, 2 windows; roughcast walls, casements, and
plain boarded door. The east elevation shows the line of the earlier catslide
roof as a roughcast gable, the north side (of 2 storeys, 2 windows) having red
brick walls in Flemish bond with blue headers; sashes in exposed frames, and a
C20 doorway. Within the angle there are tile roofed outshots, tile valleys,
and a small exposure of the timber frame.
