Two pairs of houses; two builds. 1700 date over door of No. 30, heightened
mid C18, altered late C19. Rubble with cut dressings, rock-faced to Nos. 32
and 34. Welsh slate roof; old brick stack to No. 30, C20 brick stacks to
Nos. 32 and 34. Each part 2 storeys, 2 bays. Taller right part has central
renewed door (No. 30) in bolection-moulded surround with date carved in relief
above, renewed door ( No. 28) in inserted opening on right. Inserted window
over No. 30 door; flanking bays have lower windows in raised moulded surrounds,
with relieving arches tooled to simulate voussoirs, and upper windows with
moulded heads and sills; all early C19 casements. Left end has raised reverse-
stepped gable coping and stack.
Left part has central pair of renewed doors, to Nos. 32 and 34, with 3-light
flat-faced mullioned windows above, flanked by similar 2-light ground floor
windows (that to No. 34 has lost mullion) with hoodmoulds. All openings late
C19, glazing C20. Interior No. 30 has rear doorway (now internal) with chamfered
flat-pointed arch. C20 rear extension to No. 30 not of interest.
