House. Late C18 with early C19 wing. Squared tooled stone; C19 part roughly-
squared stone with tooled quoins and dressings. Synthetic blue slate roof
with orange brick stacks. Rectangular block with L-plan north-west wing.
South elevation; Main part 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Plinth. Centre
flush-panelled door. 12-pane sash windows. Steeply-pitched roof with coped
gables and end stacks. Set back left 2-storey 2-bay wing showing 12-pane
sashes, with 6-pane sashes above, all in chamfered alternating-block surrounds
with slightly-projecting sills. Left end stack. Left return of main block
shows 12-pane sash to ground floor and blind slit in gable; right return
shows similar sashes to both floors. Rear elevation; C18 part shows right-
of-centre blocked doorway, with 4-pane casement inserted, and 12-pane sash
stair window above; inserted door in right bay. Projecting part of wing to
right shows 16-pane sash, 6-pane sash on left return and 12-pane short sash
at 1st-floor level on right return; hipped roof.
