Formerly 3 cottages and village bakehouse, now one house. Left end
S
probably earliest part, dated and initialled T S / 1741,
remainder of building probably late C18. Left end coursed squared
and dressed limestone, central portion coursed squared and dressed
sandstone, far right end coursed squared and dressed limestone and
sandstone, stone slate roof, ashlar stacks. 5-windowed, all 2-
light double-chamfered, stone-mullioned casements mostly with
leaded panes, some with early glass. C18 three-panelled door to
left end with gabled hood supported on wooden brackets over. Door
to central part painted to appear panelled with flat hood over and
small projecting window right, former bakehouse with '+' ended tie
plates far right. Flat gable-end coping with gable-end stacks and
2 axial stacks. Stone flag boundary wall continued around corner
in front of The Green (q.v.).
