3 Cottages now one house. Late C16 and C18 altered. Part timber frame with
brick infil, part painted brick, part brick dentil eaves, old tile gabled
and hipped roof dormer window, large chimney on ridge to right of centre,
flanking chimneys. One and a half storeys and attic, 2 storeys and attic.
Entrance front: C16 centre part of one and a half storeys 3 framed bays
with arch brace on left, left hand bay altered with large composite C19
casement and fixed light window inserted breaking into frame, flat lead roofed
dormer above, other framed bays have one and 2-light casements and C20 small
pane half glazed entrance door. One bay Cl8 brick extension to left with 2-light
casement with glazing bars on 1st floor and similar on ground floor. C18, 2 bay
2 storey brick extension to right with 2-light C19 casement 1st floor, similar
on ground floor with C20 small pane door between. Interior: timber frame
exposed. Adjoining on right hand a forge which is listed separately.
