House. 1721 for Robert Wilkes. Brick in English Garden Wall Bond with
ashlar dressings; Scottish slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Chamfered plinth
and rusticated quoins. Centre bay breaks forward slightly. 2-leaf, half-
glazed C20 door in eared segment-headed architrave; outer surround with
panelled pilasters and segmental cornice on big stone brackets.

Renewed 12-pane sashes in raised segment-headed keyed surrounds with roll-
moulded edges. Band above Is floor with let floor keystones tied in. Plain
parapet. Steeply-pitched roof with stepped gables.

Interior entirely renewed.
