Early C17 house. Timber-frame faced in red brick in late C19. Steep tiled roof with gabled ends. Two storeys and attic. Long range with 7 widely spacer C19 casements. C19 pilastered doorway to left with wooden porch. Ground floor modern bay window. Three small flat roof dormers. Brick chimney stack off centre. Large external brick stack, at north end, in diminishing stages, rebuilt at top. Two later wings at rear, forming F-shaped plan.
