Detached farmhouse. Late Cl8 - early Cl9, rear wing may be earlier.
Brick walls on stone base, with dentil cornice at eaves. Hipped
concrete tiled roof; brick stack at back of front range. L-shaped
plan. 2 storeys. Single-storey slated lean-to at west end of main
range. C20 part-glazed door in original reeded surround, under flat
moulded hood. Ground floor has 2 double-hung sash windows with
glazing bars, under segmental arches. First floor has one similar
sash and 2 casement windows with glazing bars. Rear wing has lean-to
addition on welt, under catslide roof. At rear of this wing an attached
stone building, former bakehouse. Main staircase, probably
contemporary with house, has closed string and turned balusters.
