GV II

Detached farmhouse, at right-angles to lane. Early C18. Rubble-stone
walls. Thatch roof, with gable-ends. Brick stacks at gable-ends. Two
storeys. 3 windows, three-light to ground floor, two-light to first floor.
C19 and C20 wood casements with horizontal glazing-bars. Wood cills and
lintels. Plank door at centre with ornamental strap-hinges. Pentice
clay-tile roof over front door. Interior: open fireplace with wood-lintel
and keeping-place in west gable-end. Heavy-chamfered ceiling-beams.
