churchyard approximately 4m east of
Church of St. John

Chest tomb. Dated 1766. Limestone. Lyre-ended, west end having
armorial cartouche with head over; central oval panel to east with
inscribed hour-glass flanked by initials R. K., death's head over
and date below. Sides have central recessed and moulded
rectangular inscription panels flanked by floral drops. Cyma
moulded top and base. Inscribed on north side to Richard Knowles,
died 1766.
