Detached house. Late C17-mid C18 and C19. Square-panelled
timber-framing with painted brick infill, some rendered wattle and
daub at rear, brick stacks, thatched roof. Rectangular main body
with C19 brick extension onto right gable end. Two-storey, 4-
windowed facade, lit by 1, 2 and 4-light C20 wood casements
projecting slightly from facade, all with lead panes. C20 glazed
door off-centre right. Single storey former bakehouse, now used
as Post Office right with C20 two-light casement right of Cl9 plank
door. Projecting gable-end stacks, projecting bread oven left of
left gable-end stack. Projecting lateral stack at rear.
Interior: flat-chamfered beams with stepped stops.
