II
Circa 1700 (2 right hand bays) and 1950s (left hand bay). Two storeys and attic,
ashlar, band over ground floor. Cotswold stone roof to front, slate and concrete tile
to rear. Coped verges, 2 ashlar chimneys with square conjoined stacks; 2 gabled
dormers. One and 2 windows, with chamfered mullions in rebated surrounds. Chamfered
plinth without mullioned basement window. Steps up to formerly central doorway;
6-panel door, upper 2 glazed; 1950 bracketted hood.
Original gabled extension to rear. A typical 3 bay house with central entry hall and
stairwing to rear of c1700-30, retaining however the mullioned window tradition.
