Two attached cottages. Later C19. Random rubble-stone walls, with dressed
stone quoins. Slate roof, with gable ends. Brick stack at left hand gable,
ridge, centre and right hand gable. Bargeboarded gable at right hand end.
Two storeys. 7 windows in total: irregular fenestration. No.33 has a canted
bay window with sashes, at left ground, a 3-light wooden casement with glazing-
bars and head of window canted upwards; two and 3-light casements to first
floor. No.35 has a canted bay window either side of front door, and 3 windows
over. Wooden casements with glazing-bars. There are 4 gablets to the upper
windows, each with a wooden bargeboard. Doors: no.33 has a flush-panelled C20
door at left hand end ; a high segmental-arched entrance, right of centre with
2 leaf-plank doors. No.35 has front door at its centre, fielded-panel with 2
top lights, C20. The cottages are listed for their close group value, position
at west entry to village, and design.
