of Marlish Farmhouse

Planned farmbuildings, c.1800 with early C19 gingang. Squared tooled stone,
and squared tooled-and-margined stone in gingang; slate roofs. Ranges on 3
sides of yard open to the south, with gingang attached to rear of west range.
North range shelter sheds with granary above; arcade of 6 segmental arches to
yard. Threshing barn on west, 1 storey, 3 irregular bays; boarded doors and
C20 cart entrance. Stable block on east 2 storeys, 4 bays; boarded doors with
tall overlights. All ranges have reverse-stepped gables. Gingang has 5 piers
on larger bases and pyramidal roof; roof structure with heavy tie beams, central
post and radial struts.
